We’re building Workplace to give the world a place to work together. And five years from launch, we’ve been working hard doing just that. A lot has changed at work during that time, but one thing remains the same. The need to connect every single person in your organization.

Since 2016, we've launched over 200 features designed to connect employees from the top of an organization to those on the ground, and from frontline to knowledge workers. Features that help entire organizations to talk and work together. Tools that enable two-way conversations, help people build workplace culture and community, and keep them safely connected so they're ready for the challenges ahead.

Challenges like the global pandemic - which has fundamentally changed the way people work now (and how they’ll work in the future). Challenges that mean organizations of all shapes and sizes now need more flexibility and choice around the communication tools they use to connect people and get the job done.

Analysts also agree that choice is becoming increasingly important as companies discover and develop new ways to use communication platforms. “With the introduction of Workplace Core and Add-ons, Workplace from Meta is signaling a maturity in their product,” Wayne Kurtzman, Research Director, Social and Collaboration at IDC, tells us.

“Instead of just using the core features, companies will be able to add the features that support their evolving use cases with greater flexibility, while maintaining a reasonable price point. ”

So we’ve been listening. And today, we’re launching new plans that give you the features and the flexibility you need to connect your company.

We’re renaming the Advanced plan to the Core package. This will be at the same price of $4 per user, per month. We’re also introducing two new Add-ons:

  • Enhanced Admin & Support ($2 per user, per month)
  • Enterprise Live ($2 per user, per month)

These changes mean that you’ll have the flexibility to pay only for features you need through Add-ons. There’ll be no price increase of the base Core plan. And we’ll keep Frontline features at the heart of Workplace with additional discounts available through our sales teams.

The Core plan gives you everything you need to connect your company. It includes classic features like Workplace Groups, Live video, and Knowledge Library. It also offers integrations with popular platforms like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.

You can then customize your Workplace experience with Add-ons, including enhanced support and more powerful video streaming.

Enhanced Admin & Support

We know that large organizations often have complex administrative and support needs. With the Enhanced Admin & Support Add-on, you get access to multiple Single Sign-on (SSO) features so you can connect your entire workforce to one platform and use account provisioning and user management.

You’ll also have 24/7 access to customer support, a dedicated support team and more.
